Effective February 1, 2009, the Executive Board of the Philadelphia Council AFL-CIO has voted unanimously to launch a ground-breaking program called the Philadelphia Council AFL-CIO Buy Union Directory, which is a concerted effort to raise funds and awareness for union standards by providing the Philadelphia area union community with an authorized online directory of screened, preferred union and union friendly vendors and services, while promoting these quality and loyal union-friendly vendors to the community. PhillyUnions.com is the exclusive administrator of the Philadelphia Council AFL-CIO Buy Union Directory Program.
